Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

BrandLens collects only what is necessary to operate the service:

• URL and page title of the active tab — sent to our worker to query AI models. We do not store page content or full browsing history.
• Usage count — stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local. Never leaves your device unless you are a Pro subscriber.
• Subscription status — managed by ExtensionPay. We receive only a paid/unpaid signal; no payment card data is ever handled by BrandLens.

2. What we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily submit your email on our waitlist form.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party advertisers.
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels on this website or in the extension.

3. Third-party services

• OpenRouter — AI queries are routed through OpenRouter to reach ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. Queries contain only the URL and page title you analyzed. OpenRouter's privacy policy applies to those requests.
• ExtensionPay — handles Pro subscription payments. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Cloudflare — our workers and this website are hosted on Cloudflare. Standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) is processed per Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Formspree — waitlist email submissions are handled by Formspree.

4. Data retention

Usage counts stored locally are reset monthly. We do not maintain a server-side log of individual queries beyond what Cloudflare Workers retains in its standard logging window (approximately 24 hours).

5. Your rights

You may clear all locally stored BrandLens data at any time via Chrome Settings → Extensions → BrandLens → Clear Data. For questions or deletion requests, email us at privacy@brandlens.ai.

6. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced via the extension update notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
